Day 1
Arrive in Yangon and transfer to hotel. Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. Meet and greet by hotel local guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. Dinner at local restaurant with Thai Food. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2
- City tour of downtown Yangon
- Visit to the Mary Chapman School for the Deaf
- Sunset tour of the Shwedagon Pagoda
- Enjoy photo Shooting at Royal Lake Kandawgyi Park before dinner
- Welcome dinner at Karaweik Floating Restaurant with cultural show
Breakfast at Hotel. Yangon downtown sightseeing include; Sule Pagoda to t ake a photo shot for a panoramic view of city, Mahabandoola Park with Independent Monument, have a memorable scene of Colonial Building, Mary Chapman School for the Deaf. Lunch at Restaurant with Myanmar food. Afternoon sightseeing at Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha, Kaba Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, Buddha’s Tooth Relic Pagoda, Ruby and Jade carving workshop, Yangon Catholic Church, free time shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) market, early evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda (Land mark of Yangon) – 2500 years old the world famous stupa having a beautiful sun-set. Photo time with the view of Shwedagon Pagoda and Karaweik Barge in the lake from the terrace of Royal Kandawgyi Lake before buffet dinner with cultural show. Overnight at Hotel in Yagon.
Day 3
- Golden Rock @ Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda – a small pagoda built atop a giant boulder of granite.
- Htautkyant War cemetery
- Kyat Khet Wine Monastery for adoring / offering alm food to 1000 of monks
- Lunch with Roasted River Prawn each
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Bago. En route visit to Htautkyant War Cemetery, Visit Kyat Khet Wing Monastery for offering food or adoring the reciting of Buddha preches by monks in Bago. Then go for Lunch at Kyaw Swa Restaurant with Ayeyarwaddy Roasted Prawn. After Lunch, proceed to Kyaikhtiyo, one of Myanmar’s landmarks, which is famous for its precarious position and religious importance: KYAIKTIYO the ‘Golden Rock’, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. To reach the KIN PUN base camp, proceed to the Golden Rock Pagoda and top of the hill Hotel by open truck (1 hrs). On arrival you can enjoy the beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 4
Breakfast at Hotel. Go down by truck and directly back to Bago. Arrival Bago Lunc h at Three-Five Restaurant with Chinese Food. After lunch, visit Seinthalyaung Pagoda, Hin Thargon Pagoda and Chinese temple. Drive back to Yangon. En route visit to White Elephant and Marble Sitting Buddha. In the early evening, have pleasant walk around the bank of Lake Inya to enjoy local people way of life and with lush greenery and gentle breeze. Farewell dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5
Breakfast at Hotel. Proceed to Thanlyin (Syriam) across the Yangon River via Thanlyin Bridge built by Chinese Engineers, an opportunity to see the countryside around Yangon. Visit fascinating local market in Thanlyin. Drive to Kyauk Tan. Visit Yele Phaya (Pagoda on a small island in the middle of the river), a popular place of pilgrimages. Drive back to Yangon. Farewell lunch at Restaurant with Thai Food. After lunch, visit free time shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) market before transfer to airport for your onward flight.
